Here’s my monthly installment for March. Enjoy!

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
I know I’m late to this book, which was a bestseller and favorite of 2024. On the surface, this novel is about two friends who bond over video games and end up creating a video game company, but on a deeper level it is about the structures we live in, the way we see the world, and our relationships. Though this isn’t a perfect book, I related to the messiness of the characters and appreciated their evolution. The juxtaposition of creating games, playing games, and being in games with our very real, grounded humanity helped create so many avenues for lightness, whimsy, and a different kind of perspective.
Function Health
I usually read non-fiction in the morning and fiction later in the day. The non-fiction book I’m currently (re) reading is Outlive, by Dr. Peter Attia. If you’ve read this book, you know that one of the biggest factors of your health risk is simply your genes. Looking at my family history and inherited genetics, I’m potentially at some level of risk for metabolic dysfunction, heart disease, and cognitive decline with age. So far, I’ve managed to stay fairly healthy. In some part that has been sustained by regular testing and tracking my health markers with a doctor, and adjusting my diet and lifestyle accordingly. Function Health is a platform that offers far deeper dive testing than primary care, a detailed overview of your results, and actionable steps to create necessary change. I’m genuinely so excited to try tracking my health using this platform. Let me know if you’re on a similar journey - I’d love to hear what you’ve been doing.
The Mayfair Group
Something about these playful, positive sweats just make me happy. They’re oversized, cozy, and if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that I can’t stop wearing them. Here are a few of my recent favorites. Plus, you can use ADITI15 for 15% off.
Madewell sandals that remind me of Khaite
I love Khaite shoes, but these are about 10% of the cost, and will still elevate my spring/summer looks. The strappy, minimalism is so chic, and the snakeprint really does remind me of these highly covetable shoes.
Running Point
I wasn’t sure if Running Point was going to be good, but it’s a cute, funny, and lighthearted show. Kate Hudson is an ex rebellious party girl who unexpectedly ends up in charge of the pro basketball team her family runs. It’s a welcome contrast to the intensity of Severance, or even White Lotus. I can be quite sensitive; I was heartbroken by Adolescence, and cried watching The Pitt so I found this playful, feel-good show to be quite entertaining and easy to watch.

Amazing. I will have to check out that book. Similar family history not great however taking a different approach, I believe we can stimulate our genes to live healthier as well, even though familial history has its ailments. There are lots of great resources out there to substantiate the evidence. One of my favourite reads is from Dave Asprey “ super human”. I may not go as far as he does but I will do what ever it takes to stay healthy and alert.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow was great! Took me by surprise how much I liked it. I also appreciated outlive. It was the first health-related book I read. I wish he had gone deeper on women’s issues in his book (past just suggesting HRT) but he gets to it in his podcasts and other complimentary content. I’ll check out Function Health!
